Mobile Search in Collections

Hi everyone!

I am trying to do a collections search in the mobile app, but it seems that it seems to be treating the search like a Bible search. It asks me to define the passage and only delivers to me the verses where the text that I have searched for is located. Some of my collections can search just fine and do not ask me to define the passage while others search like a Bible search. Can anyone help me resolve this issue?

As you can see, the first search is in a collection for Gideon in Biblical Archaeology collection. The second is for Gideon in a Counseling collection. One search asks for a passage and treats it like a Bible search. The other just asks for the collection. I am trying to do a standard collection search in the Counseling collection without having to define a passage. If there is something wrong with the way I set up the collection, then I would like to adjust it. They are both set up the same way. One is set up looking for the books with the subject:archaeology and the other with the subject:counseling. Parallel resources is off in both collections.

Anyone have any answers here? I am really irritated at this. I would also like to know why I can’t create and search collections based on tags. I can creat a collection using the tag:”keyword” but it is not searchable on the mobile version.

Hi Jason, this seems related to this thread. This is something that we are aiming to improve and it is on our radar. Sorry I can't commit to when.

A related problem perhaps… on the desktop I created a Collection of all issues of the journal Themelios. This collection appears in the iOS mobile app.

However, when I search “in” this Collection for a topic, that works fine in Logos 9 Desktop. But in the mobile app, the search goes far and wide beyond the specified collection.

Can others replicate this behaviour, or am I missing something?
