BUG: Reading Plan 'Adjust to Today' & 'Read Again' Sets Incorrect Date

First, I'd like to express my frustration with trying to use the 'Help>Report a problem' Tool in L9 Android. It opens up Skype with a log file attached but no contact to send it to. I searched for 'Logos Faithlife' and a contact popped up named Mitch Rosenberg (Faithlife) and I sent this info to him...I hope he was the appropriate person, but it is not a clear-cut, user-friendly method for the end user. Now the issue...

I use Logos 9.3.0 primarily on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 (Android 11).

When I got behind on a reading plan, I selected 'Adjust to Today' to reset the next reading for today's date (Tue, Mar 16, 2021). It instead adjusted the next reading to Sat, Dec 14, 2030.

I marked the plan complete to try again. When I select 'Read again', it starts the plan on the future date of Sat, Dec 14, 2030.

Tested on my iPad Pro, it functions properly and starts the plan from today's date. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome! [:)] Sorry for your troubles. [:s]

I don't work for FL, but it would be good to get some clarification. The reading plan <should> sync, so if you have it right on the iPad, is it now correct on your Android device? I don't have any Android devices to test, so I can't help you with that part of it. It would be good to know if this is just an android problem, or if there is some sort of sync problem as well.

    Thank you for chiming in!

So, yes, once the date is incorrect on Android, there is no way to correct it on Android. I have to use my iPad to mark the entire reading plan complete, then restart the plan, which syncs the correct date back to Android. An alternative is to edit the plan in Windows.

FL will need to chime in. It seems like a bug, but I prefer to do this sort of editing on my desktop so my familiarity with this particular feature on mobile is limited... and non-existent on android.

masque3000, I am sorry, but we have not received your logs.  If you are unable to send them by email, you could add them as an attachment to this thread.

The app is designed to send the logs using your default email or messaging app.  Perhaps you might be able to change your default app to something other than Skype.

You can also send the logs directly to customerservice@faithlife.com.

We can investigate this problem further, once we have your logs.

    Good morning!

Unless I did it incorrectly, I believe the logs are already attached. I can see the zip file right above my original post. Are you not able to see it?

Also, I have verified in settings that Skype is not my default messaging app. This is the first & only time a program has called on Skype without me telling it to. I'm not sure why that is.

I'll email the file to customerservice@faithlife.com.

You did this correctly.  Your logs are there in plain sight.

Our team is looking into this issue.  I will be getting back to you by email.
