I booted Logos 9 this morning and the notebook that I have used for years is no longer there :-( HELP - why does it not appear in the list of notebooks? How do I get it back? What did I do that would cause this.... Yes, I am desperate! thanks

Hugh in the bottom left of the Notes tool is a 'Trash' button, is it showing under there?
It is actually at the bottom of the sidebar, so that will need to be open to be able to see the button.

Kevin - thanks -- BUT - I can not find any such trash button/icon :-(
I have the notes tool open, opened in separate window, still can not find any trash icon.

OK - had to play a bit until I got the sidebar and trash icon - the notebook was there and is now restored and all is OK... I knew there should be some way - I still am not sure how it got 'trashed' - thanks....

Great news! [Y]
No idea why it happened either, but if you were intending to delete a note, and inadvertently selected delete from the 3 dot menu next to the blue 'New note' button, rather than the 3 dot menu in the note itself, that would delete the notebook.

thanks for the tip and warning! Is there a way of backing up the notebooks apart from Logos? I.e., make my own backup of these files?

I would strongly advise against doing an external backup. Trying to actually use it could easily leave your sync in a humungous mess.

Deleted notebooks, as well as many other document types deleted and not, are always available at
