KYLE: Inconsistent author names
The general rule is that people that have been declared a saints, appear as authors without their title -- that is what I expect. However, a few have kept the St. in front of their name:
- St. Peter of Alcantara. Finding God through Meditation. Edited by Daniel Burke. Translated by Giles Willoughby. Revised edition. Navigating the Interior Life. Steubenville, OH: Emmaus Road Publishing, 2015.
- and 17 resources of St. Pius X which should be simply Pius X - note error is in the library not in the citation.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Maybe I’m misunderstanding the objection (and apologies if I’m doing so), but why do you think that the St. should be left off of Pius X?

Because the other saints don't have the St. title nor are other titles included in the authors' names. Outside Pius X I find one St. and one Abba among the authors - those two have been reported as errors as well.
