Visual filter issue
Hello there!
I have a visual filter set up to show all verbs highlighted in green and all participles with a black box around them.
I have two tabs…
Tab 1 is the NA28 and then in parallel I have the ESV, NASB, and the NET
Tab 2 is the LXX and then in parallel I have the ESV, NASB, and the NET
Both tabs have the visual filter as well as corresponding words turned on. Both are set up identically. So far so good. The problem is, the two tabs are behaving differently and I can’t figure out why. For the life of me I can’t figure out how to get Tab 1 to behave like Tab 2.
On Tab 1 the verbs and participles are showing up in all 4 versions which is NOT what I want. I only want it in the Greek. HOWEVER, Tab 2 is showing up correctly! Only the Greek is marked. I tried attaching screenshots but it kept exiting me out of the forum.

Hi Michele - and welcome to the forums.

I think you are trying to get something like this (I've just done the green verb highlighting, not the black participles):
The visual filter does apply to all resources shown in the multiple resources view - which is why you are seeing the behaviour you are seeing in tab 1.
I am guessing you are applying the visual filter to All Resources.
In this case, with the NA28 - which will result in the translations being in the NT - then the visual filter will act on the Greek verbs in all of the resources resulting in the highlighting you are seeing.
In the LXX case, however, you will be highlighting Greek verbs for the LXX but because the translations don't have Greek in the OT that explains why those are not being highlighted.
Assuming I am correct, you need to set up the visual filters to just apply to the main resource in the window such as this:
I hope this makes sense - please let me know if it doesn't
