Elementary question concerning reading "ancient manuscripts"
I'm studying some ancient manuscripts, and I've got a "multiple resource display" with several panels open, including my text in Greek, an English translation, and a couple others. When I hover over each word in Greek, I get the morphological info, which is great. But is there a way to show the Greek word's gloss by simply hovering? This info is available in the context sensitive (right-click) menu, but I'd like to remove a step if I could. Of course, this text does not have a reverse interlinear, but the info I need is obviously very near.

You should try the information tool. This can be set to update on hoover (in its panel menu on the top right), and the Definition, Translation or Word Info section will probably contain what you want to see
