visual morphology setup
I have used the visual morphology for parts of speech yet some words are not being picked up. I have assigned color coding to each part of speech and have not used black. Yet some words remain black and they appear to be different parts of speech. I have a parallel to the greek text and that also has black text. Can anyone point me to why all of the text isn't some color other than black?
My color coding parts of speech are....
Verb-Green
Adverb-Blue
Noun-Red
Pronoun-Pink
Adjective-Orange
Article-Brown
Preposition-Purple
Conjunction-Grey
I'd cherish anyone's help!

Hi Josh - and welcome to the forums
Can you post screenshots showing a portion of text that is black along with a screenshot of your visual filter?
(Please use the paperclip icon in the forum editor to upload screenshots)

One reason is that English words supplied by translators, which are not in the Hebrew/Greek text are not going to be highlighted.
There are probably a few more reasons, that I'm not aware of.

I attempted to but they don't seem to be showing up. I did both after I made the post (I couldn't see how to add them in the html editor before posting). I also attempted to reply to your post and add the 2 photos and this doesn't make them appear. Do you see them?
Thanks so much!

I still can't see them - are you using the paperclip icon to add them?
Edit: I've just seen a picture of the text in your original post. If you can try again using the paperclip icon they should appear inline in the post.

No, I took pics using my mobile of my computer screen, then moved them to my computer to post. It loads the file from my downloads folder and then I click save and select im not a robot but it doesn't appear.
I even just moved to my other computer (first one pc and second one mac) and this isn't helping either.
Is there some prerequisite to posting attachments if you are brand new?0 -
Graham,
I figured out how to add them. They are on my original post now. If you are able to help it would be greatly appreciated!
God bless you either way!

Hi Josh
From a quick scan of what you posted it looks as though the terms remaining black are either articles or adjectives
Please post screenshots showing how you have defined those in your visual filter

The article entry should be D
The adjective should be J
Where did you get the values you were using?

Logos Wiki Extended Tips for Highlighting and Visual Filters has
One option is following Faithlife group Logos Visual Filters that allows Docs menu to be filtered by Group for Logos Visual Filters. Can Right Click on a Visual Filter => Add to your docs (OR click to select visual filter followed by clicking "Add to your docs")
Adding a Visual Filter to your docs causes corresponding Highlighting palette(s) to be added too. Tools => Highlighting shows palettes in your application plus allows customization of colors.
FWIW: personally liked "On Fire" in Emphasis Markup for Imperative mood so red became my generic verb color.

Graham,
Thank you for your help and advice. I didn't realized there were all of these present options to enable. I'm not sure how I chose the wrong letters for the parts of speech. Now my NA28 is all color coded as I was desiring. Thanks for your support and God bless YOU!!!
