You really needed at least 250 GB

You will have problems with an SD card and continuing issues with trying to index on the SSD afterward. You need to attempt a minimal installation on the SSD and tune the resources to what is useful for you and practicable for the system i.e. you need at least 15% spare space after installation. How much spare space do you have? Try to free as much as possible before installation using Disk Cleanup, free CCleaner. Also empty recycle bin, turn off System Protection (or remove all but one Restore Points).

Hi Alan,
128 GB SSD is too small for running the OS plus a larger Logos library, as you found. I concur with Alabama's first two points.
Any idea as to what I can do?
1. Return the laptop. If that is not an option:
2. Swap out the SSD for a larger one. If that is not an option:
3. consider running Logos on an external SSD connected through USB. This is what works for me and I think a number of other users - note that Faithlife considers this unsupported. Make sure the SSD is formatted NTFS, not exFAT.
Have joy in the Lord!
