Bug when deleting a paragraph in Sermon editor (Logos 9)

Hi

My apologies if this has been posted before. If so, I was unable to find it.

When I write a sermon, I often end up deleting one or more parts. This bug shows up when I delete one or more paragraphs. If what follows after the selected paragraph(s) is a citation, it will be deleted as well. If what follows is a heading, it will loose its formatting. As a workaround one can select one character less than a full paragraph. That is fine as long as you remember to do so. It is quite annoying if you forget.

I have prepared a short video that demonstrates the problem: https://youtu.be/6iqaBOxc3so

Perhaps a related bug would be that if you paste text into the sermon editor it will always loose its formatting, even when copied from the sermon editor.

Best regards,

Sakarias Ingolfsson

Not shown in the video, but if I had removed the third paragraph, possibly the fourth would have been turned into a heading.

Something like it has happened on occasion, but not consistently. I am not sure about the circumstances. It did happen in my sermon prep today.

I don't know if you are on PC or MAC. I'm aware that the delete key acts a little differently in both Operating Systems. My way (PC) around the bug you describe is to highlight a paragraph then press "BACKSPACE" rather than "DELETE". I sense that it is like some word processors that transparently include formatting for the next paragraph at the end of each paragraph before the "enter"

I am running Logos on Windows 10 Pro.
Unfortunately, it makes no difference whether I press the backspace or delete key. The bug acts the same.

I noticed this a while back, and we have it on a list of bugs to fix. I'll see if we can prioritize it in the next month or so.
