BUG: Paste into NOTES always changes font
One of the recent updates for which I am very grateful fixed a bug that messed with formatting pasting into notes that had been adding line breaks & spaces, but in fixing that issue seems to have reintroduced an old bug. (Sorry, I can't find where I came across it quite a while back) I have changed my all of my default fonts to Gentium 12pt, but now when I paste text into a note it ALWAYS pastes in Helvetica. This is a little thing, and I readily acknowledge that this is a little thing, but would it be possible to tweak this back so that pasting into notes uses the default font set for notes? Thanks!

What value is here in your program settings?

It is set to Gentium 12 pt. I have been using Gentium 12 for both English & Greek since L4.

Then, yes, you've reported a bug.

I have this problem all the time. I've just come to accept it because I thought it had been reported so much that it became apparent it wasn't going to be addressed. I'm not good at finding older threads, but this has been discussed a ton.
It would be nice if Notes would apply the correct font style, size, (and color ?) as the default. It does not.

Any traction on this problem? Can we at least get it on a "to fix" list somewhere?

My default font is set to Times New Roman to meet my academic requirements. Logos 8 created all new notes in my default font (TNR-12) and any content I copied and pasted from commentary research was not a problem. Since updating to Logos 9, all copy and paste results are in Helvetica.
I have reset my Default Resource font and Default Notes font in Logos preferences to Times New Roman 12. Copy and paste to Note still uses Helvetica! Am I missing a setup. This was not an issue in L8.
Thanks

Jimmy, this has nothing to do with your setup. There is a bug that was introduced into L9 Notes somewhere that is unresolved and as far as I know also heretofore unacknowledged. Apparently the problem runs further with the way notes handles fonts over all. I just found another bug that I will be posting on.

It would help if you reported your OS, as I have no problem in Windows, and another user with the issue was on Mac.

Just popping in as a reminder that this is still an issue: MacOS 11.6.8; Logos 9.15.0.0005
