This turns up all the time in research, and yes, there are some newer works, but, this is a classic which would be great to have in the Logos Library. Let's give it a boost!

Commentary on the New Testament from the Talmud and Midrash (3 vols.)
Absolutely a core item. Push!!!!

BTW the original edition is already available for those who can read German:
I considered the German edition, but my German is getting rusty, as is my money spending skill at that price.
There are just SO MANY resources that I'd really find helpful, and this is one that I think about as it dangles, teasingly, in front of me.
I've been in on this one since 2013. It's going to take a much bigger push than we have seen to date!
I have pre-ordered the English version in 2013 at a price around $150.
Now I saw a pre-order bid with around $250 for both English and German. https://www.logos.com/product/30793/commentary-on-the-new-testament-from-the-talmud-and-midrash-english-and-german
The price is same as the German version alone.
Now, if I pre-order this bilingual set, I assume I would get the German volumes right away (and paying it now) and the English as a bonus after many days. Could anyone clarify that?
Hej, welcome back Donovan [:)]
Veli,
I have ordered the German and English package in 2013, and have no German Strack and Billerbeck in my library, so no, it doesn't appear that you can get the German part of the package now and just wait for the English later.
If you don't wanna wait try to find a pdf on the Internet...and hold in Mind, that you will need 4 and 5 with all the Exkurses.

Super glad to see TDOT added, now to get this great reference work in Logos! Spread the word and let's get it produced!
Seems it will come in Q4 2021
Eight years of waiting is paying off!
Wonderful! . . . Pre-ordered on 4/13/2013
From product page: "Lexham Press is pleased to announce the first-ever English translation of Hermann Strack and Paul Billerbeck’s Kommentar zum Neuen Testament aus Talmud und Midrasch. Using the Pre-Pub process for this project allows us to invest resources in translating Kommentar zum Neuen Testament aus Talmud und Midrasch only if there is sufficient demand."
Maybe it took 8 years to slowly translate. I can't imagine just a few months (with academic dependency and demanded accuracy).
It's the PDP's listing of publication dates in 2013 for resources that aren't done yet in 2021 that's throwing me off.
Even odder (?) is that the german one disappeared. I have that one; works great in a CitedBy. Maybe they don't want to dilute the unbelievable demand for english S&B.

It hasn't disappeared: https://www.logos.com/product/30802/kommentar-zum-neuen-testament-aus-talmud-und-midrasch

Are there samples of the English somewhere?
