Media Storage Limit For Notes
As we now have the ability to add images to our notes, I'm thing of adding my handwritten notes as images. However, I'm wondering how much storageI have i can't see it anywhere. I'm on a grandfathered Logos Now subscription.
So I'd like to know how much storage I have in total but also where I can see what I've used already.

Whatever operating system you are on, use its File browser/explorer to get the size of the Logos folder (Windows) or Logos4 folder (Mac). It should also tell you the amount of free space on the drive.

I think the implication is specific to "cloud" storage as he is referencing a 'subscription'.
How much "Cloud Storage" do people have? There is no indication of a limit or usage in the UI.
This is a great question and I'm curious myself since this is not clearly stated and unlimited storage would eventually become a problem if we overburden Logos' servers with media files.

Apologies for the delayed response. Yep, Brian gets what I mean. You have the ability to add an image to a note and because this is synced to other devices, it must be stored in the cloud. So yes, If I start adding my handwritten notes as I would like to, could I run out of space?

No, because that is managed independent to your local storage for all users. FL have to manage cloud storage and it shouldn't affect what you do.

No, because that is managed independent to your local storage for all users. FL have to manage cloud storage and it shouldn't affect what you do.
I’m not sure I’ve communicated the question very well here. I understand that local storage is controlled by me and cloud storage is controlled by FL. Logos presumably doesn’t want me to add 200TB of image files so they must impose some kind of limit like any other service that provides syncing and therefore cloud storage

I understand your question, but FL has not provided any guidance for the limits of notes. I would not expect it to be unlimited, but it should not be an issue for most users.
How legible are your notes? They would be much more useful as text, and take up much less space. I have heard of people who have used transcription services. If they are important to you, I might consider that route.

I wouldn't advise doing it in one go[:D] I'm not aware of user limits on cloud storage, but you could chat with Customer Service about it.

How legible are your notes? They would be much more useful as text, and take up much less space.
I find I just don’t connect with the text in the same way when typing. I approach the Bible very prayerfully and spend four or five hours in the word and prayer. Typing text into logos just kills it for me so I’ve decided to go with what works for me, which is handwritten notes. I could just load them into evernote but since the ability to add them to Logos is there, it seems a good option. My handwriting is super legible. Thanks

Actually Sean, don't be too surprised: it has been demonstrated that people simply do not remember what they are learning as well when they use typewriting instead of handwriting. They (whoever "they" are!) did studies demonstrating that students who handwrote notes did better in recall on exams than students who used their laptops.
This is why, in spite of my love of Logos (Logos Gold, ~7400 books!), my Bible Study will be paper-based and handwritten, for the most part, forever. What I do then is scan the notes into OneNote (although I suppose I could start using Logos as my repository for them as well!)
It's also why I use a paper Franklin Planner. I had gone all-electronic and kept forgetting things. Went back to paper-based, and voila, Much-Improved Memory, LOL! #Over-50

Yes I'm aware of those studies, or some anyway. I certainly agree about using handwritten notes and I would add that I actually make more progress when I use a pen and paper. The other thing that tends to happen is that it releases the creative side of the brain and so I seem to be able to think about the text in ways I can't with typing. plus it just seems so much more pleasurable.
Like you, I do scan but to Evernote. It just seemed a really useful idea to add to Logos as well.
