How to automatically indicate in the biblical text that I highlighted a pertinent resource?

so that when I am reading the Bible, there is an indication (perhaps an icon) in the text that I highlighted a pertinent passage in a commentary or resource. Is it necessary to create an anchor, or is there a way to automate this?

I think you would have to create an anchor each time.

What I do instead is to search my highlights for the passage that I am studying:

<Ref> WITHIN {Highlight *}

You will need to remember to include Bible verses in your highlights, so the search will pick it up. But this would be quicker than creating an anchor each time.

I know it's not as obvious as having an icon by each verse in your Bible, but it doesn't clutter the Bible text with note icons.
