Not all of my Keyboard shortcuts in the Rich Text Editor work in the Notes Tool. Ctrl+M, Ctrl+R, Ctrl+L, Ctrl+/ and Ctrl+.  and others not working. I've downloaded the latest update 8.5, but still no change. Can anyone help me please?

Thank you

    Forgive me for being dumb, but what are those supposed to do in the software?  CTRL + L opens the Library as it always has. What are the others for?

    With the move to the new Notes Tool in Logos 8, I've noticed that some shortcuts on the Mac were never implemented. I guess this may be the case for Windows as well. FL needs to clear up the help notes which shows the shortcuts that Gaby is referring to:

    Ok.

    CtrlK works for hyper links. Bold/Copy/Italic/Underline/Cut/Paste/Copy/Undo/SelectAll all work.

    Align Left conflicts with another keyboard shortcut already in Logos so I doubt they will change that.

    For bulleted list it is a simpler shortcut. You just start with a - and for numbers you just start with the number.

    Thank you, gentlemen. Some of the shortcuts work - I am specifically referring to the keyboard shortcuts in the Notes. The one that I am really missing is the Indent short cut - Ctrl+M (and the counterpart Ctrl+Shft+M). Thank you for the info for the bulleted list.

    How should we report this to FL? Or would they pick it up from the forums?

    Technically it is not something to report as it is not a bug. They do view the forums but you could also put it at https://faithlife.com/logos-notes/activity as a suggestion for the notes tool.

    Folks,

    As Gaby says, 'some keystrokes work' in Notes and for me, several do not (and to a lesser degree elsewhere).

    The vanilla Windows strokes do work, but as with Gaby, indenting does not, nor FONT or SIZE for instance do not; elsewhere  for instance, Ctrl+Shift+-/=  work here in forums to change the display scaling but not in Notes or in the layouts.

    A conflict? Notes' own Ctrl+Shift+-/= as sub/super scripting also do not work.(Not that 'scripting' is a bad thing in Notes, but the stroked scaling would be of use elsewhere.)

    Generally, it is hit and miss, but in Notes, Logos editor strokes are generally not functioning for me.
    (Eg, Logos' Ctrl+Shift+S  — Open Search (from a floating window) does work.)

    Addenda:
    I am using a Logitech board & mouse;
    I realize I am using v9, but 1) this is not a new, v9, issue for me & 2) it is a thread on my issue already started.

    Win 10 x64 [19042]; i7 6820HQ, 16GB, 1T.
    Logos 9.4.0.0009. (w/Verbum hooks.)

    [Some Notes et al. keystrokes do not work.]

    Adding to my Notes keystroke post:

    Given Levi's list above, of the 16, 9 do not work for me, fully or otherwise [* = strokes I'd/I use often]:

    * Ctrl+C does copy, but when I Ctrl+V paste -- even a single character from within a word -- Notes automatically ends the pasted text with a line break. (I'd of course want such a 'help' were a line-break actually embedded.)

    * The alignment Ctrl+E/L/R do not work -- and Ctrl+L 'of course' brings up the Library.

    * Neither 'indent' stroke works

    * Ofc [of course], Ctrl+X 'works', but its 'V' is 'consistent'.

    Ctrl+Y is, well, picky.

    And if the List strokes don't work, ought they be un-documented? And their typing conversion replacements be?

    As much as I admire Logos, both desktop and Web, and while ofc some strokes could conflict with other 'local' apps, 'keystroke conflicts within Logos' ought to be addressed -- either 'become undocumented or fixed -- regardless their support nuisance. (Is it not possible to code for specific/same-panel/tab key operation?)
    Having to shift back and forth, keyboard and mouse, documented or not, is a constant irritant.
