Exporting Notes and Highlights: Can it export the VERSE associated with each note or highlight?

When I'm reading/studying my physical paper/ink Bible it's always been my habit to HIGHLIGHT verses, either with a yellow highlighter or just a pencil mark in the margin, and occasionally some scribbled notes next to these verses.

Of course I see where I can basically perform both those tasks in Logos, but there seems to be one shortcoming: When I want to EXPORT these notes the exported form does not include the VERSE REFERENCE.

I would REALLY like to be able to periodically export all my notes/highlights to a text file mostly as a form of backup... I want it to become my permanent "marked Bible", and I don't want it permanently locked inside of proprietary software!

To illustrate what I'm saying, see below.

First is a screenshot of my sample notes, below that is the text export of these notes (this is from the text export, but while the other formats are prettier, they also lack the desired information).

As you can see in the screenshot, in the app you can see that the verse associated with each note or highlight is included, but as you can see in the text export of this same data below that there are no verse references.

It seems like an extremely useful bit of information!

1) Is there a way to export my notes and highlights such the associated verses are displayed?

2) If not, is there a way to request this feature? Or is that a hopeless wish?

Thanks!

35 But someone will say, q“How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?”

29 Otherwise, what will they do who are baptized for the dead, if the dead do not rise at all? Why then are they baptized for the dead?

This is a sample note for 1 Cor 15:29

How is it?

Can faith save him?

Can that faith save him?

10 And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid, and the children of Israel mcried out to the LORD. 11 nThen they said to Moses, “Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt? 12 oIs this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, ‘Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should die in the wilderness.”

Better to serve Egyptians than to die in wilderness

The export feature for Notes is pathetic, but I couldn't find a suggestion on the Feedback site when looking for "Notes export". This is the closest, but I think you will need to create your own for clarity.

Thanks! I guess for now I'll keep my highlights/notes outside the app!
