The Atlas acts strangely
Hello, I have difficultly getting the Atlas working in my Logos 8 Desktop app. For example, in Factbook I searched for Beth-jeshimoth. In the Media results, there were several maps. I would like to look at its location, so I clicked on one of them. The resulting new window was titled "Atlas | The Israelites Defeat Sihon and Og," but it was utterly blank. Then I moved it to my other monitor (I was using an external monitor); the map did show up, but the "+" and "-" signs did not work, so that I was not able to change the scale of the map to see the location of Beth-jeshimoth in relation to the greater area. The grap and move function (the hand-shaped cursor) also did not work.
Why would this happen, and how could I make it work on my computer? Is it something about RAM size or internet connection? I'm using VPN, does this affect using the Atlas?
Thank you very much!

Hi Esther - and welcome to the forums.
I have just tried this on Logos 9 and it all seems to work correctly.
I'm using VPN, does this affect using the Atlas?
Potentially, as the Atlas Tool does require network access and is accessing resources on Faithlife servers - so if the VPN is, for example, blocking certain messages or connections you might see the behaviour you are describing.
But it's also worth checking which version of Logos you are using. You posted in the Logos 8 forum - if you are still running Logos 8 I recommend you upgrade to Logos 9 and see if that changes anything. The free upgrade option is available at https://www.logos.com/product/194909/logos-9-basic
