Highlighting Shortcut Keys

For beta 4.0C beta 3 what is the key sequence needed once you set a new highlighting shortcut? You can set the shortcut via the pull down to a letter which now displays as a capital next to the highlighting. Say you set one to 'B'. Is the highlight action supposed to be "CTRL + b", "ALT + b" etc... as well as what is the remove highlighting action. I can't find where this is documented or is this not complete yet?
Also, once I assign a key and try "CTRL + k" Logos 4 crashes.

It's just the key you assigned. So if you assigned the highlighting style to 'B' then just press 'B' (no Ctrl or Alt or Shift, etc.). The focus has to be in the resource window that you are trying to apply the highlighting it, though. So if you just select some text and then immediately press 'B' you should see the highlighting get applied.

Ctrl+Shift+K. You need to select the highlighted text first, and then this will erase it. It's the same as clicking on Erase in the Highlighting panel.

I wasn't able to reproduce this. Can you reproduce it consistently? Starting Logos up from scratch, right-clicking on an existing style (I'd closed Logos with my Highlighting palette already open so it was still open when I started Logos back up again), clicking the dropdown arrow and choosing a letter, selecting some text in an open resource, and pressing Ctrl+K did not crash Logos. Could you try those exact steps and see if it crashes again? If not, but if you can reproduce it in some other way, could you write out the exact steps you do which reproduce the crash? Thanks!

Mine crashes right away. Here are the steps:
- Close all
- go to ESV Col 4
- Blue Highlighter was previously set to 'B'
- Select some text
- Press 'b' key ... Logos 4 crash
When I restart Logos 4 the highlighting is there.
Also, when I select the now highlighted text and then press CTRL + Shift + k.. Logos 4 crashes.
PS
I have tried it with different layouts and resources and It did work once but all the other times (about 10.. it crashes) with either emphasis marker or highlighter shortcut keys.

I tried to reproduce this exactly and was unable to. My highlighter short cut keys (including Ctrl-K, not ctrl-shift-k) work fine. I really like the addition. Thanks, Logos.

The crash appears to be due to an open Search panel in the background; try closing all open search panels and seeing if you still crash when that happens.

I just looked at the code, and it seems more likely to be the case that the crash will happen if you edit markup after closing a Search panel; there may not be a workaround for this bug.

Once I "closed all" and exited Logos clean and then restarted Logos it now seems to work as expected. So, Bradley when you have time let us know it there will be a fix.
Thanks
