Has the "Search All" been removed from Factbook?
I'm on Logos 9.4, using the Desktop for Windows. Following Morris Proctor's advice to start (most) searches from Factbook, I entered, "Cambridge Paragraph Bible" in the search window there. It gives me the following sections:
- Top Results
- Concept
- Place
- Person
- Resource
- Event
- Writing
None of this info led me to what I was looking for. So I scrolled to the bottom, expecting to see a link to "search all resources" (or something like that), but it was not there. Am I missing something or has that function been removed? I was almost positive that I used to be able to start with Factbook, and if it didn't have what I wanted, be able to execute a general search from there.
Instead, I had to copy and paste the search criteria (Cambridge Paragraph Bible) into the search tool. THEN, I found what I wanted.
I'm a BIG fan of Factbook, but if this little feature is no more, then it's a huge loss unless someone can recommend a workaround (quick keystroke maybe?).

That's much more than I get, as the Bookstore section is it! Please provide a screenshot.

Well, that's not such a bad way to get a Search result[:O]. But I'm puzzled by what you were expecting

In general, you will get a Search for link for topics in Factbook, usually for Everything. Provide other examples of using Factbook for a Search.

I had to take 3 screenshots to get it all in. Here you go:
What I used to see (or I think I used to see) at this point was a "search all resources for Cambridge Paragraph Bible." I simply clicked it and it performed the basic search. It's this functionality that I'm missing with the recent changes to Factbook in version 9. I know it's minor...having to manually do the search myself, but I just wondered if it's possible that there's a setting...or something I've missed as of version 9.
Thanks, Dave, for your help.

Those are not actually Factbook articles - they are lists of the possible articles that, in some way, match the entered string.
The Search function is still present in regular Factbook articles (at least some classes of them) as shown below:

You have chosen to Show all results "for The Cambridge Paragraph Bible". The actual article for "The Cambridge Paragraph Bible of the Authorized English Version" only has a Bookstore section. Neither of these contain a Search for link, which is usually at the end of the article e.g. enter Salvation and choose the Preaching Theme.
I doubt that Show all results for a topic has a Search link.

You nailed it, Graham! I'm not sure how I managed it, but for the past several months while learning Logos I never ONCE tried to find something in Factbook that wasn't a Factbook article. That's why I thought all these "new-to-me" sections were the result of software changes; I had never seen them before.
I was used to seeing the More section with the Search for "term" link.
Thanks!

See my response to Graham. You're right. Show all results for a topic doesn't have a search link; I just didn't realize that's what I was doing.

Are you conflating two menus?
Yep...I was; just didn't know it. See my response to Graham.
Thanks, everyone! Mystery solved! [:)]
