Copy Bible Verses Style not "sticking"

I've created a custom CBV style in 4.0c and have noticed that the selection of this style as a default will revert back to the style of "fully formatted" after an undetermined period of time.
I've noticed it across all 3 Betas.
No errors or any loss of program operation, just that when I open CBV after not using it for a few days it reverts to "fully formatted".
"As any translator will attest, a literal translation is no translation at all."

Is it possible that you have L4 installed on another computer that you run periodically? The settings for the other may be getting transferred to this one.
Other than that, all I can say is that this is not my experience with the CBV module.

Quite possible, I will have to check.
I'm wondering, will the CVB preferences sync even thought the module is not used, while a session of L4 is open?

I would guess so, but I just admitted it'd be a guess. I don't know what is synced, or how L4 determines when to override settings on one computer based on the settings on another.

Sync'ing depends on timestamps. If two machines have L4 open to the internet the prefs and documents of the active machine will sync to the unused machine.
I had just deleted a document on the desktop and was back on the laptop, not even using L4, when it crashed! The crash log told me it was because of the document I had deleted on the desktop (now a bug report).
