How to limit search using the command line
I would like to be able to do a limited search using only the command line, something like:
Passover <John>
Passover {John}
to list every occurrence of Passover in the Gospel of John.
I know that this can be done using the dropdown menu:
Search All Bible Text in John in English Standard Version
When I do that, I find that the next search automatically limits the search to John and must be changed. I am wondering it there is a way to override that with a quick command line (that I could assign to a keystroke on my Mac).

using only the command line,
KS4J - are you able to get this to work from the Command Box? I'm doing something stupid wrong

get this to work from the Command Box
simply pasting the search string
into the command box gives
which includes a search in the currently preferred bible (red box) and two Everything searches. That's probably good enough. Seeing what KS4J shows requires clicking over to Bible Search and selecting All Open Bibles, which I don't know how to invoke directly from Command Box.

My problem is that Verbum Help indicates I shouldn't have to click over to a Bible search ... I can get it to look like a Bible search but it returns zero results ... the Fuzzy search gives results irrelevant to what I need but ...get this to work from the Command Box

Search[Basic | Bible | Morph] Search for query
Launches a search for a specified query in the Search panel. Optionally, specify a search type, such as bible or morph; otherwise, Verbum will run a Basic Search.
• search for truth opens a Basic Search and searches the Library for the word “truth.”
• bible search for love BEFORE "the world" opens a Bible Search and runs the query “love BEFORE ’the world’.”Note: the full search engine syntax is available to specify the query.

I'm a newbie, so my use of "command line" was perhaps more precise than I meant. ⌘⇧S (Mac) takes me to the search line. I've put "WITHIN {Milestone <>}" in a Keyboard Maestro macro which puts my cursor back in the <> brackets. This is much faster than moving with the mouse. I'm thankful for this information.

Okay, if I run against All Bibles I'm finally getting results ... I'm at least able to play with it to figure out what I had wrong. Thank you ... I was getting rather frustrated.

Let's put it this way. I wouldn't have had KS4J's answer if you hadn't asked ... and I really did want the Command Box on the top line ... so we are all happier.
