Suggestion - Library Page

I have 9.5 SR-1.

On the Library drop down, I would really like to see a full page option.  I am distracted by the background showing on the left, right and bottom of the Library.  I have it expanded as large as possible and still can't cover the left, right and bottom of my main page.

Also, could you include an optional column for the size or number of pages of each resource?  I'd appreciate it greatly!

Anyone else?

God's blessings,
Gerry

I read this incorrectly at first so let me verify that I understand you:

You want another option here? If you had the library panel maximized when you closed it then open will open it maximized again. Whether or not your tray etc. is still visible is an operating system option -- at least for me when I maximize the window that is true MS 10 operating system.

I open my Library in the default mode, not in a new tab or in a floating window.  I use the window size adjustment in the lower right of the window to its maximum size and I still have my main screen sticking out in the bottom, left and right sides.

It wouldn't bother me if the Library page completely covered the Logos page from the tabs on down.  It would be much less distracting and there would be room for more information.

I might be misunderstanding you but I think if you drag the library button into the tabbed area instead of clicking on it you’ll accomplish what you want.

Okay, now I understand. You are opening it as a temporary drop-down menu not as an independent pane or window. Drop-down menus by "definition" never cover the entire window that they are a temporary menu in. To get the behavior you want, you need to Open the library so that it has a persistent panel and use the maximize in the upper right to get it to cover everything. It you close it fully expanded, thereafter it will open fully expanded.

One thing you have likely noticed is that when you use it in the drop down menu format, whenever you focus on another menu or panel, the library drop down menu disappears. If you actually Open the library panel, it won't disappear - it will persist until you close it.

GregW. is correct that drag-and-drop works like an open except that you determine where it opens.

Hmmmm, I tried to open the Library as a floating window and adjusted the size so as to fill the entire page below the tab area.  This worked - almost.  When I got it to the size I wanted I closed it and opened it again as a floating window, it was somewhat off from where I'd set it.

So here's my solution.  I have a dual monitor setup, so I opened the Library as a floating window, moved it to my second monitor and set it to full screen.  Voila!  It opens to a full screen window every time.

This fills the bill.  And covers up my web browser.  No biggie.

    Thanks and God bless,
    Gerry

Glad you have it working. If you simply open rather than opening in a floating window, you wouldn't need to go to the second monitor. But what you've got works too.
