Hello there,

Does anyone know how to search for the verbs that occur ONLY in two specific stems and NEVER in other stems. For instance, I want to make a list of the verbs that occur only in Piel and Hiphil but NEVER in Qal, Niphal, Paul, Hithpael, etc. Or to make a list of verbs that occur only in Piel and Niphal, and never in the rest of the stems.

Thanks in advance,

Gegham

This is a difficult search when its scope is the entire OT (or entire NT) for all verbs. Morph Query and Syntax Search are the only ones that allow agreement between terms e.g. they have the same lemma, but Morph Query has a limited scope. My Syntax search did not finish after a very long time just for the book of Genesis!

    Dave,

Thanks for the information. Honestly, I am surprised that Logos cannot do it. I think this can be another feature to add to Logos.
