PBB tool & library connection..

After the PBB tool list has now more books, a lot of cumbersome scrolling has become necessary and a bit of a clean up is desired ....but deleting pb in the tool currently also deletes it from the library ...

Questions:
(1) Is there a possibility "to compact the list view" or change it to "tiles" to get more on a screen and have less scrolling?

(2) Could one delete PBs from the tool list (like those which are "not in the works" or "not favorites"), but have the PB kept in the library ?

(3) Anyone have other ideas on how to organize that growing list in the PBs ?

you need attention that bad ???  You might get more attention by answering questions asked in the post to which you are replaying ...

DO you have answers? if not, say so or do't reply ...

I'm sorry you don't like my insuring that as many posts as possible get a response. It's something I have done, generally on Saturday, for many years. I have had many people puzzled because they didn't know what "bump" means. But you are the first to be offended. I do answer questions with a very quick answer when I'm scanning for posts from the last two weeks that have not gotten answered. I read this one, recognized how long it would take to frame an appropriate answer, and chose to bump it for others to answer.

    Hi Wolfgang:

If you're relatively new to the Logos forums, the shorthand phrases that are used might require explanation. When MJ. adds a 'bump' (frequently on weekends), she's helping your post get back nearer to the top of the list so that the post gets more attention, either from other users, or from Faithlife employees when they return to work on Monday.

    Regarding your questions:

There's a feature you might not know about that could help: Press Ctrl+F in the PB panel and a search box appears which allows you to type a word. The list of books will be filtered down to titles with that word. This is similar to an Inline Search in resource panels.

Several years ago, a Faithlife staffer, in a post or reply, was 'thinking out loud' about redesigning the PB Tool window to make it more like the Library panel, but apparently that didn't come to fruition.

I would recommend that you do not delete any personal books, even though they add to the long list, One never knows when that book might be needed again. It would likely also remove the titles from your Library. I say 'likely' because deleting personal books from the PB Tool has an uneven record of success.

Well, thank you for clarification attempt ... this old German here obviously had no clue and was completely ignorant of what you were doing  ... I apologize.

Thank you for your note and helpful hint with the Ctrl+F "list filtering" idea.   Thus far, deleting a pb in the tool also deleted its entry in the library (since it was my book, I could rebuild it from my docx file)
It would be helpful to "redesign" the pb tool a bit ...

Again, thanks for the helpful info.

I've would love to see some improvement to this tool.

Can't really see why PB tool doesn't work like a sub-library.

Another thing I would love to see, is when you find a PB res in your Library, you can get to PB tool options with  a RMB. Like: Edit PB resource...so you can easily change/add to make your PBs more useable in the library.
