Somehow I'm having a bit of difficulty understanding how we ended up with a lemma X X ... I'm still trying to identify the language in which that would be a valid lemma.

Err 1

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

    I see the problem!

Technically I think the lemma is being reported as X with a transliterated value of X.

    Looks like some tagging errors.

Did you read any of the results...

The first one is the X abbreviated from Χριστός.

    Not a lemma at all.

I can't work out what half of them refer to (I get 21 results).

The resource has several abbreviations within it. These are instances of abbreviations that are specific to this resource. It looks like it is working properly.

I'll file a report and look into this. My guess is that in the guide, this is the upper-case Greek letter chi, with "X" as its transliteration. Why it is happening, I'm unsure, but we'll look into it.

Jimmy, after a career in IT and more then seven decades that I remember, I am unwilling to accept that anything that three long-time heavy users of Logos/Verbum cannot make sense of is "working properly"-- except in the sense that "the operation was a success but the patient died". If it is "working properly" then either the data or the design behind it is flawed.

MJ, I believe this is resolved.

The Perseus data appears to have used an `X` in some instances as a placeholder or something. I rooted those out and also regenerated data for the ~800 resources affected.
