Bug: 4.0c Beta 3: Source markings don't copy from AYBC Exodus

Open Exodus 19-40 (AYBC) to the translation of Exodus 31 (that link I provided should get you there).
Select the two paragraphs from verse 12 to 18.
Copy & paste into Word.
The Source markings (R for Redactorial stratum of Torah, E for Elohistic source) do not come over.
Here's what they look like in the resource:
After pasting into Word:
Just the brackets (and a question mark) come across, not the letters indicating the sources.

I'm not able to reproduce this. I have the Default font selected in L4 and the font in Word 2007 is Calibri. What font is selected in L4 and Word, and what version of Word do you have?

I too have the Default font selected in L4 and am using Word 2007 with Calibri font as the default. It has nothing to do with Word, though. Even if I select one of those sets of brackets with a Source reference between them in L4 and copy/paste here, all I get is the brackets (here's the one from just after the 12 (for Exodus 31:12) which had a question mark after an R between the brackets in the original:

Looks like the R simply isn't getting copied to the clipboard.0 -
I get the same result as Rosie (but with Word 2010 and Calibri)

We'll look into this further. Thanks.

Do you have "Copy Footnotes" in Program Settings set to "Yes"? I get the same result as you do when that is turned off.

Well, what do you know? I had it set to "No" -- when I turn it on, it copies them. You're brilliant!
But then the bug report changes: it shouldn't copy the empty brackets if I have "Copy Footnotes" set to "No" -- they should be considered to be part of the footnote marker.

I'll submit a report. That may involve retagging/rebuilding the books, which may not be able to be done right away.
