Link to footnote

I can link a note to the main text of a resource easily enough but can I also link a note to a footnote?

    I might be wrong, but I think the answer is "no". However, there have been requests in the past to make footnotes more accessible and interactive like regular text. If I recall, there was some technical reason why it hasn't been implemented, but they were going to look into finding work-arounds. HOPEFULLY, THEY'RE MAKING PROGRESS...[:^)]

    I found it possible to copy the footnote into the note which creates a reference beneath it that links to the footnote so that's a possible workaround for anyone who is desperate.You don't get to format what the link looks like though.

    It's interesting that it seems to be possible in principle but not in practice.
