BUG: Why Does Clippings Add Back Pericopes

Why is it when I select text from Bible Text Only in Reading View and send to Clipping using the right click menu the pericopes which I'd rather not see get added back or shall I say persist within the text as if I hadn't selected Bible Text Only? Is there a way to remove or not have pericopes applied to the clipped text?

Meanwhile, Jesus kept on growing wiser and more mature, and in favor with God and his fellow man.

    After persistant  experimentation, I found that I can achieve the format I seek by simply selecting Add a clipping from within the clipping document. I find that strange, but it works. So lesson, if you don't want the pericopes, don't select the clippings document from the right click menu! This appears to be a bug.

    I thought I had included a screenshot of the results from the clippings, but, somehow it didn't get included in my original post.
