getting a red apostrophe son error around once per day
hello
I am getting a red exclamation sync error around once per day
When I close and restart Logos the sync occurs and the exclamation disappears
Anyone have any idea how to solve this please.
Sorry if I am asking a repeated question.
Regards

Hi Antony
I am getting a red exclamation sync error around once per day
This is an error that I get infrequently, it is usually associated with a failure of the house wi-fi or switch.
You may need to overhaul your infrastructure, router, leads, switches and mesh units to see if there is a weak link.
You should check your Internet Service Provider's (ISP) website to see if there have been any outages in your area.
If all these check out then you will need to have a look at your computer for failing components.

How to get logs and post them.(now tagging post-apocalyptic fiction as current affairs) Latest Logos, MacOS, iOS and iPadOS

Thanks for your reply Mike.
I’m pretty sure the problem is not with my system. I use a few software systems that synchronise regularly and I am not having any issue with them. For security purposes I regularly check my router logs there are no issues reported there. Any service provider issues are reported to me by SMS and my internet service has a backup 4G failover service.
I am expecting the issue is with a Logos resource or some document I have created, and I am hoping someone can tell me how to diagnose that.
Thanks again for your help

I am hoping someone can tell me how to diagnose that.
If you post your logs to this thread (via the paperclip icon), one of the more techy forum users can look at them and perhaps find out what is going on. See my signature line for how to get the logs.

Hi Anthony - are you running on Windows or Mac?
Sometimes I see this on my Macbook when waking it and when Logos was open when I paused it.
The only solution to this I have found so far is to restart Logos.
I do not see this issue on my Windows system.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I thought I should post an update on what has happened since posted the original question about the error.
I am using an M1 Mac book pro
To the left of the sync circle there is a drop down list of the resources that have been added during the sync and there is a X button that allows you to clear the contents of the list. I had not cleared the contents before as I had been using it as a way to easily access new resources. So I went ahead and cleared the list and since then I have not seen the error. I have added more resources to Logos but the error has not returned. I do not know for sure of there is a direct relationship between clearing the list and the error not occurring but not has now been six days. I will monitor the situation see what happens next. If it re-occurs I will turn on the logging as Levi has suggested.thanks again for everyones comments
