How to find page numbers?

In the books I have in my library... is there a way to find what page I am on when I am in one of the books?

Thayers, Ungers, Halleys... etc?

So I find something on a certain page in one of the books... Is there way of referring to that page number and also to be able to go back to that page number?

Books which have pages numbers included have a special visual filter which you can turn on. If it isn't in the visual filter menu, then the book doesn't have them.

There are other links which you can create, independent of page numbers. Do you know how to create those, or did you need page numbers specifically?

The page number should appear in the resource location box. If it doesn't, it may mean that the resource doesn't have page numbers. OR...

Books like commentaries and dictionaries use the same box for page numbers, head words, Bible references, etc. If you don't see the page number in the location box, click in it and hit the down arrow key. You should get a dropdown that shows you the page number.

How?

Click on the kebab menu (three vertical dots) and chose "copy location as..." button. NOTE: there are different options to choose from. The wiki will help you to understand the differences.

This is another way, but as Levi points out, if your resource has other location features, the page number might not be displayed. Furthermore, the reference box will display the numbers of all pages visible on the screen, so you may not know which specific page the material is on. That is why the visual filter is important too.

It displays the page number for wherever you click in the resource, so you can get the specific page number for where you are reading.

Now ... say I find the page number..... close everything down... and weeks later... I want to go back to that specific page number.

Yes, just enter the page number in the reference box (where you found it). But it is more common to you the heading word or Bible reference ... as that is often closer to the exact place you want than the top of the page.
