Sync causing us an issue

Today, our pastor uploaded their PowerPoint very last-minute (after our service had started). When this finally sync'd to the presentation computer, the live output temporarily blanked, panicking our operator.

Although I love the "collaboration" features of Proclaim, I really detest the idea that things can change "live" without the operator knowing or being in control - especially when it disrupts the live output of the projector.

I've already requested the ability to lock a presentation, or disable sync, via the feedback site, but wondering if anyone else is having similar problems?

I believe that the best way forward would be to remove the Pastor from the presentation team.

But having the ability to lock a presentation would be a good substitute.

I would be okay with the option to lock, but the ability to fix or add things on-the-fly is one of my favorite things about Proclaim. I don't think I have ever seen the live output blank, though.

We have this same problem. It auto syncs every 15 minutes, regardless of changes and caused all of our TVs to blink or freeze if have a motion background. I think while a presentation is on air, the ability to sync should be disabled, until on air is clicked again to bring the presentation off air. Something needs to be done, as it is very annoying to have screens flashing or pausing in the middle of mass.
