Custom layout using Thompson Chain
Hi all. I saw the post blow about the Thompson Chain but thought I would do my own.
I would like to do a custom layout using the Thompson Chain and could use some detailed help in setting up a layout such as this. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

go to the post you found. Copy the web address from the address bar in your browser.
Paste the address in your next post and make sure that you add a space to the end of the address after you post it.
like this...

I know there is a way to post a link to the specific portion of a thread without having to go to the top of thread but I do not know how to do that.
EDIT... I think I figured it out by following Dave's link to the Wiki page.

Edit #2. Yep, that works, follow Dave's info to post your link about 2/3 to 3/4 of the way down the page.

Hi
John. I read your info and saw your example in the post referring to the Thompson Chain reference and it didn't quite work for me. So, I remembered something from a webinar by Morris Proctor and tried it Hopefully it will work ok. I will try to do a screen shot of it and paste it here.

You can't paste screenshots into the forum editor (well, you can, and they may even show in the editor, but won't show in the published post, as you have found). You can either
- save the screenshot to a file (jpg or png format works best) and use the paperclip-icon to start a file upload utility, navigate to the file and upload it to the forum editor, or
- click the Amber-button right to the paperclip icon and then when Amber comes up, paste the screenshot into the righthandside part of the Amber scree, then hit insert
Have joy in the Lord!

Ok finally figured it out. I had to first figure out how to do and save a screen shot on my own computer. After that I had to click on things and figure out how to transfer said saved screen shot to the forum. Done! Success finally.
Anyway its amazing how well this works. The Bible window marked A would be for like your original reference. The Bible window marked B is for links. Each has its own Marginal notes window.
