How do i download Logos 8?

My computer is too old to run L9 (Noooooo!). ( I have a mac that has stopped updating at High Sierra 10.13.6)

My Logos 8 Desktop app automatically downloaded L9 and now it won't open.

Does anyone know where I can download Logos 8, and then how to stop it from automatically downloading Logos 9?

Also, how does this work when I make new purchases? If I sync my app up to see the new purchases from here on out, will it just download L9 and be unfunctional? Can I turn off software updates, but still update new resources?

However, is there any particular reason you are wanting to download Logos 8?

It is no longer supported and the free Logos 9 engine is available at https://www.logos.com/product/194909/logos-9-basic

An option for Logos 9 (& Verbum 9) may be macOS Mojave patcher tool for unsupported Mac's that can natively run macOS 10.13 High Sierra => https://dosdude1.com/mojave (successfully upgraded a mid 2011 Mac Mini to macOS 10.14.6 Mojave as Apple supported Late 2012 or newer Mac Mini models for macOS Mojave, which allows Logos 9 & Verbum 9 to work on 10 year old Mac Mini)

Logos Wiki => Logos Downloads Archive has Logos 8 & Verbum 8 download links. Command: Set Update Channel to Manual disables automatic program updating (Manual channel does not exist so cannot find newer application releases for installation).

Yes for updating resources (when update channel is manual, software cannot be automatically updated). Caveat is some recently new resources have software datatype(s) that are only in Logos 9 & Verbum 9 so those resources could be read on web app => https://app.logos.com & https://app.verbum.com while not being fully usable (if usable at all) in Logos 8 (& Verbum 8).

Missed these for a bit. Thanks all! I was able to purchase a newer computer recently - and can now enjoy the perks of 9 (Dark mode and working reading lists baby! Woohoo!). Thanks KSFJ!
