Slow application of User Created highlighting

Description

Steps to reproduce

1. Load Logos4
2. Open a book (lectures to my students - vol 1)
3. Select a sentence
4. Hit the key (U) defined to apply my custom markup (Red underline with two red border lines.)
5. Alternatively hit the key (Y) to apply yellow highlighting.

Actual Result

The built in yellow highlighting still takes a while to apply, but the custom highlighting takes a bit longer.

Expected Result

No difference in time.
