There has to be an easier way...
So I am using a Reading Plan for the first time with a non-bible resource. I jump into it daily through a card on my Home page. I have already posted wondering why I can't change the layout that comes up, but that's in another post.
My issue here - what comes up in a layout is the resource, a pane showing my reading plan, and a pane showing all my notes. Here is the issue - I highlight something I want to capture as a note, in a specific notebook I created to hold all the notes for this reading plan. I highlight, and right click/select the "Add Note" icon that pops up - and I see it appear at the top of all my notes. But it's not in a Notebook, from the best I can gather - so I click the "Set Notebook" dropdown, and scroll down and find the appropriate notebook. So -
(1) Maybe tied to my layout question, is there a way I can just have that notebook open, so add note defaults to adding the note in my desired notebook?
(2) After I do that first Add Note, EVERY TIME I add a note, I have to set the notebook to my desired notebook. That is really bad. Is there a way that it will just automatically add my subsequent notes to my desired notebook?
This would be easily solved if I could update the default reading plan layout that comes up, to include my Notebook open - then they default go right in as in other uses of notes. I can keep opening it every day, but why can't I modify this layout?

This would be the Bible Reading Plan in Home Page Layouts?

No. You have to select one from the dropdown. This is frustrating!

No. This is the same as (1)

It won't solve that issue! But you can update the Plan in Home Page Layouts if you right-click it and select Replace with current layout.
