Changing reading plan layout

Is there a way to change the layout that comes up when you click on a reading card on the home page? It's not the "Home Page Layout" "Bible Reading Plan", I updated that one and the old layout came up. Also on the right column of the layout icon, the "Now" layout, "Update active" is greyed out and unable to be clicked.

I know I could make my own Bible Reading Plan layout, but I like entering it through the Home Page card, which reminds me to do today's reading.

Thanks!

It will open the bible in your current layout. So you may have to Close All before it will use the Bible Reading Plan layout.

I think he means a non bible book reading plan launched from a card - it will open in a built in layout showing the book on the left, with Notes Tool above the reading plan document on the right. I have tried and it is not in the Home Page Layouts list to allow to update.

It will be one of the Home Page Layouts. If you click a Lectionary, you will get the Lectionary layout. Clicking a Devotion will only open the resource.

I'm not sure what layout is used for a non-bible Reading Plan. But the Bible Reading Plan can be updated to use it (see below).

Also on the right column of the layout icon, the "Now" layout, "Update active" is greyed out and unable to be clicked.

That means it is a one of the Home Page  or QuickStart layouts. You have to right-click one of those and select Replace with Current Layout.

No, there is a Bible Reading Plan layout, but in my case it's not a Bible - its just a book. There is no Layout in either Home Page or Quick Start that matches what they bring up when you click the reading plan card (what Kevin posted).

I agree -- there appears to be a Reading Plan layout that didn't make it into the layout menu ...
