Bad linking between Mounce's MED and the KJV?
I noticed that Mounce's expository dictionary is on very good sale. I'd love to use that and the KJV in Logos 9 basic (free) to drive some new people to Logos... except I can't in good conscience do that. Why?
I know lots of people who want to use something like Strong's, but for meaning. I've tried to steer them in better directions, like Mounce. But unfortunately, Mounce acts oddly,
If you link the KJV from Logos 9 to Mounce, clicking on
Morning #1242 in Gen 1:8 takes me to baqar "cattle" #1239
Evening #6153 takes me to areb "pleasant, sweet" #6156
This is the right root, but the wrong word.
Eden #5731 takes me to the verbal form adan #5727
Lesser #6996 in 1:16 takes me to qoten, #6995.
Again, right root, wrong word.
This will just confuse and steer people wrong.
Anyone know what's going on here?

I think this is due to Mounce's resource not being set up to disambiguate homonyms
Not sure if that totally explains what you are seeing though.

Graham is correct. We've created a case to add the necessary data to that resource.
As a side note, it turns out that resource is missing an index for Hebrew Strong's numbers, although it has one for Greek Strong's. This makes it so that you can't manually navigate to a Hebrew Strong's number in that resource. We will look at fixing that too.
