Logos 9 Crashing when I open a resource.

Whenever I open any resources logos crashes. This is my second Mac that has the same issue. I am on OSX 11.5.2 and I have attached my logs. Not sure how to get it working.

    HI Joshua - and welcome to the forums. Sorry to hear you are having problems.

    Your logs suggest that the crash occurs when Logos is trying to open a reading plan called Chronological Bible Reading Plan (3) which is trying to access the ESV.

    Is this consistent with what you are seeing?

    You mention Logos crashes when trying to open any resource. Is this opening them from the library, from the command bar, or in some other way?

    Hey Graham, thanks for reaching it out!

    Yes, here is the few different ways I have tried opening things. All have ended in a crash.

    - from the Cards on the home screen

    - from the library icon (tried several resources)

    - fact book opens but opening any resource from it results in a crash

    - searching a scripture and opening the layout

    - opening a resource from the saved icon thing that you can put next to tools

    It seems its all resources. I have checked fonts and they are all good. This current install is a new computer setup only a few days old and logos is only a few days from its install.

    It looks to me like there is a problem with your reading plan titled Chronological Bible Reading Plan (3). Are you able to delete this reading plan? That may fix the problem.

    Hi Graham, sorry to barge in on this conversation but I am having the exact same issue on my Windows 10 machine running Logos 9.  Each time I try to open a resource either via the command bar or the library, the resource will open briefly and then the app shuts down completely.  The zipped log file(s) is here https://community.logos.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/CommunityServer.Discussions.Components.Files/155/7838.Logos.zip.  Are you able to tell what the culprit is?  Thanks so much. This just started happening recently so I wonder if this is something tied to the latest release update or something since I am not the only one experiencing this.

    HI Tim - and welcome to the forums. Sorry to hear you are having problems.

    I have had a look at your log files - and the main Logos.log file does not indicate a crash (it looks as though it might have been taken after Logos restarted).

    I don't think the cause of what you are seeing is the same as that reported by Joshua

    So when it happens again, please start a new thread in this forum and upload a new set of logs before restarting Logos
