Copy a Greek Word from the Text?
Guys and gals, I know this sounds simple and silly, but I am almost positive that I used to be able to simply right click a greek word in the text, click on "copy" in the pop-up menu that came up, and copy it into my Word doc. As an alternative, I am almost positive that I used to be able to double-click the greek word which highlighted it, press Ctrl +C, and then copy it into my Word doc. For some reason neither seems to work most of the time any more! Now I admit to being older and more senile than I used to be, but I feel a little crazy about this. I can right click on a greek word and then click on one of the dictionaries in the pop-up and copy the lemma, but I sometimes don't want the lemma, I want the actual form in the text. Very rarely ctrl + C will work, but suddenly the vast majority of times (since version 9?) there is no "copy" in the pop-up menu and double-clicking on the actual greek word and using ctrl-C doesn't work either. Help! Am I missing something that I used to know? Thanks!

From what particular resource are you trying to copy?
I am able to copy by right-clicking and choosing "Copy" from the pop-up menu on multiple Greek bibles.

I want the actual form in the text.
When using the context menu, have you checked that the actual manuscript term is selected on the left?

Thanks for putting the picture up of the context menu. It led me to continue to investigate and I found the answer! When the context menu comes up I have to click on "Selection" to get the "copy". Otherwise, clicking on any other item in the left column will not give me a "copy". I knew I got "copy" very rarely, and couldn't figure out why. You solved it for me. Thanks!

I would have expected this option - clicking on Selection - to result in the English word being copied
To get the underlying Greek word, I would have expected you would need to select the Manuscript option as I showed in my screenshot

The Copy option should be available for many of the selections on the left of the menu - sometimes with a range of options:

I only know of two ways.
1. Using Reverse Interlinear, right click and choose lemma, under look up, choose DBL Greek, then copy the transliteration. This only works for the lemma.
2. Use transliterate.com and paste in the MSS Greek word. Then copy the result.
Not very efficient, but those are what come to mind.

First, open the Information panel and hover on the "Word Info" line until you see the Settings dropdown. Set the checks as seen here-
...that will give you the transliteration without the other stuff, as seen here-
For some unknown reason, you can't copy the word from here. This is a terrible oversight, IMO. But at least you can see the English transliteration.

Well, you can - using the copy button instead of selecting. It will give the Greek word and the English transliteration, so if one doesn't want the Greek, it needs to be deleted.

I still think a right-click copy should be available, but I also understand there are more important issues to fix.

I find that if I just highlight a word in the Greek text, a small menu pops up automatically with the option to copy. No right click needed. That is what I do. By "highlight the text" I mean a left click and the mouse. Works in the English Bibles also.

For anyone who doesn't see this, it requires Show Selection Menu to be set to Yes in Program Settings.
