Why all the bundling? Request to Logos/Faithlife staff
Humble request to FL to stop with the unnecessary bundling of books and/or to break up bundles
Is it possible to please break up some of the bundles in Logos? Why the bundling in the first place? There are several books I’m interested in but they are tied into bundles and I don’t want to spend $100+ to get the one book I want to read (some examples below). If you are going to go the bundle route, could they be broken up after a period of time so I could buy individual books and journals?

I would love to give Logos more money for these resources but I find it silly I need to spend hundreds to get the one book I want. I know I’m not the typical seminary student user (at least that is what I think the typical user is) so this request may fall on dead ears but I hope Bob or someone from Faithlife sees this and tries to help out the little man. When I came to Logos from WS, I was in "sticker shock". I have in my cart now some a bundle or two... but I simply cannot afford the bundle, nor do I want all the bundle in my library. And I was thinking I was the "poorest person in Logos" as I cannot afford the prices Logos has on bundles. And I may be.
It is not how many worthless books that we never use, that we have (I have too much of that already).... is it about find information that we need and want. Logos may be the "Cadillac" of the Bible software.... but I have never bought a Cadillac in my life... too expensive.
So I buy a book cause it's in a bundle... and pay the bundle price... when all I want is one book in the bundle... I have actually paid more for the book I want because I don't want (and probably will not use) the other books in the bundle. Does that make economical sense?
I would like to see less bundling of books. I would like to see a softer pricing also. I don't buy what I cannot afford.

I look at this from a slightly different angle. I am quite pleased to have a lot of dross in my library. It gives me some confidence to know that even though I would not voluntarily read Andy Capp's 'Dissertation on Sanctification' having it in my library when I come across something like 'Andy Capp and other's views have little to support them see DoS page 666' means that I can check out what is being denigrated and recognise any subsequent authors who might posit Cappism.

Yes, it used to be available as an eBook (like many B&H Academics resources prior to Lifeway's discontinuation of WordSearch) - and in this case the logos.com page does recognize ownership. The resource in my library claims to be a Logos edition, but in fact has no index and book-references and retains the eBook-style footnotes, was last changed in 2016. Thus I expect a technical update to happen when the PrePub goes live.

After reading through this topic.... I would suggest it would be wise for Faithlife to hear all this and I hope they do.
My dream would be to be able to buy any book that is in any bundle... individually. The price for individual might be higher than if that book was in a bundle... but so be it. I would think the bunkles, although a higher price for more books, would be cheaper per book...
Just my thoughts....

I wonder what the cost/return result would look like if every book had to be given a separate sale page.
I am sure that there are many many of those books that would never justify their price if sold outside a bundle. They may though have some value in a bundle even if only one of the more useful books has a link too material in them.
Having written the above I wonder what the milage would be in offering bundles that were guaranteed to have all the resources referenced in a major work included in them. I would certainly look closely at a Tom Wright set that included all the works referenced in his major set. :-)
