Hello all, I am new to Logos and Logos 9 was my first. Are there plans for a Logos 10? And if there are, is there some sort of upgrade fee? Or will I need to pay the 10k plus for the premium plan all over again(I dont have that yet but plan to upgrade to it).

Also are there updates and features added to Logos 9 as time goes on? I really love the Sermon Manager but think theres SO much more that could be done i with it. It severely lacks on formatting options.

First, you never pay twice for the same resource so your library now if you get that library for Logos 10 you will only pay for new resources and new features if you want the features. Second, give Faithlife your ideas for the sermon manager and they listen to the customer. Finally, most likely Logos 10 will come in the Fall or very early winter. If you do nothing in the spring you can get the new engine free. But your features and library from Logos 9 stay as is; in other words you get nothing new accept the engine which is always free to the public.

That is next fall or early winter (I'd say between Oct-Nov 2022). They tend to be on a 2-year cycle for major new releases, and Logos 9 just came out last fall.

Here's an excerpt from the Logos Bible Software Wikipedia page which gives the dates of the past few major releases, showing they are pretty consistent with this schedule.

Many have expressed views about features to add to SB. Personally, I would love to see SB be able to handle links to other resources and those links work in mobile, but I have always been a bit of a dreamer.... lol

    Thanks Rosie for the timeline....

Logos Wiki => Logos Release History shows Logos 4 was released on 2 Nov 2009 for Windows (took three years to achieve 99% feature parity between Windows & Mac, which added some new Logos 4 features along the way). Wikipedia dates correspond to Logos Blog Announcement dates.
