Exporting underlined portion of a resource.
How can I transport my underlined portions of a resource into a word document or "note" in an easer manner than a sentence(s) at a time?

Welcome Philip,
How are you currently doing this and what do you mean by "underlined portions" (how do you invoke the underlining)?

I place my curser wherever I want to begin underlining, hold and slide the curser to the right highlighting that portion of the line, release and press the underline button.

highlighting that portion of the line, release and press the underline button.
Hummm, Unless I have misunderstood the process I can't do that in a resource. I wouldn't know where to find the 'underline button'.
Perhaps a screenshot would help?

Hi Philip,
I assume that you have been using the highlighting tool via the "selection menu:"
If this is the case, then you need to know that those underlines (highlights) are in the Notes Tool. To find them:
1. Open the Notes Tool from the Tool Menu.
2. Select "Highlights" in the Filter menu on the left side of the Notes Tool.
3. Type the name of the resource in the "Find" box until your desired resource is visible; select it. Now you should be able to see a list of all the highlights in your resource.
4. Select the highlights you wish to export. Use CMD/CTRL (on Windows, I think) to select multiple highlights.
5. In the upper right of the Notes Tool is the Resource Menu (three vertical dots). Click on it and choose Print/Export.
6. From the Print/Export screen, you can Copy the highlights, export them to Word or other file formats.
