Need Help with Syntax for Headwords and/or Milestones in a Personal Book

The NIV Cultural Backgrounds Study Bible includes a Hebrew to English Translation Chart that is not indexed or easily accessible when I look up Hebrew words. Denise (I think that's who it was...my apologies for not remembering) suggested I copy the chart into Word and create a Personal Book. I have decided to do that, but don't know how to set it up. Do I use headwords? Milestones?

There are 52 entries in the chart and my primary goal would be to have the GK# indexed. How do I do this?

Also, and this is actually a MOST IMPORTANT question: If I accomplish this, creating what I understand would be my own lexicon(?), how do I then use it? Will it be available in a lookup, search, guide, tool?

I'd like to be able to utilize the GK#'s and the scripture references. I know how I would search and find the scripture references within tools and guides; it's the GK#'s I'm not quite sure how to use.

Regarding how you use such, they operate as a lexicon ... right-click lists the PB if prioritized (in your case, Strongs), CitedBy to follow your Bible, and so forth.

As you test your ideas, it's best to have only a single entry (to save you trial-error work).

Dave (Hooten) had good advice a couple weeks back, but I can't find it. Hopefully, he'll repeat.

Dave, I'm making progress but not quite there.

Here's what it looks like in My Hebrew GK Lexicon (PB):

The GK # 1343 and Gen 1.1 are both active now, linking directly to the DBL and my Bible.

But how do I get My Hebrew GK Lexicon to show up in this Lemma screen?

If it has to do with creating a headword or milestone for the Hebrew word rather than the GK #, I doubt I'm going to want to get that geeky. If so, I will probably just go back to relying on the Cited By Tool in reference to the Passage that will be in the chart. Any other suggestions?

You will have to get very geeky. Your two Hebrew word examples are homonyms, which I doubt can be formatted correctly in a PB lexicon (they have different GK numbers, but you need a lemma lookup from a Bible or for a Bible Word Study)

I figured as much. Oh well...that's okay. There are advantages to just having this chart in a PB so I'll go ahead and add the remaining entries.

To that end, since I'm not using the GK numbers to locate the Hebrew words (indexing), do I need to create the milestones? What purpose do they serve since it seems to me I'm only going to use the links.

Therefore wouldn't this suffice?

Keep the GK milestone if the PB is to be a lexicon whilst the GK reference can be used to access a higher priority lexicon like DBL Hebrew.

Note that the GK milestone can allow access to your PB lexicon (from the context menu) if it is prioritized in the top 5 for GK numbers i.e. below ESL and DBL Hebrew/Greek/Aramaic.

I prioritized my Lexicon just below the DBLs but it doesn't show up in the context menu. And I tried two different Hebrew words.

Is that the problem, though...that I'm right-clicking on an English word and the context is working off the Lemma, which in my case, isn't a milestone?

But don't bother with researching this, Dave. It's no biggie to me if I can't access my Lexicon via the context menu. I've created a separate collection with just it in it and am having good success with the Citing By tool using the key verses. There aren't THAT many entries in the chart anyway and I'm becoming quite familiar with them as I'm typing and formatting them in Word. So I'm not concerned so much now that I'm going to miss one whenever I do a word study.
