Kyle: Westminster Dictionary of Theological Terms incorrectly tagged as Glossary
The Westminster Dictionary of Theological Terms (Second Edition) is incorrectly tagged as Type: Glossary instead of Type: Encyclopedia. I think this resource should be classified the same as the IVP Pocket Dictionary of Theological Terms, which is classified as an encyclopedia.

The line between Glossary and Encyclopedia can be fuzzy but we try to use "Glossary" for resources that are a collection of short definitions of terms focused on a narrower field of inquiry.
The "Pocket Dictionary" series predated the "Glossary" resource type and we missed switching them over when we introduced it.

We've changed their type to Glossary.Please consider rethinking this classification. When I look up terms I'm more concerned about the subject matter of the dictionary rather than the length of the entries. These are shorter entries of similar terms and subjects that are in many of the rest of many encyclopedias/dictionaries, and I would like to be able to easily find/search them all together. Most of the glossaries in my library go with some other reference/scholarly resource or tool to help you use that resource/tool. See below. Many are linguistic/morphological glossaries. The above-mentioned dictionaries of theological terms fit better with my other dictionaries with theological topics, even though the entries in those dictionaries may be more in-depth. As it stands I now have to modify one of my collections to make sure the highlighted dictionaries are included with the rest of my bible/theological dictionaries/encyclopedias.

I use a collection I call reference sources (as opposed to Catholic standard references) for your purpose. I found the change to be helpful and prefer that there be a solid, rational distinction between glossary and encyclopedia. I recognize that changes in type are disruptive to users but get annoyed when resources remain misclassified because "users are used to seeing them there". I would want to know the differences in behavior i.e. where glossaries are searched vs. where encylopedias are searched before any change is made in these resources. Note I have 11 more resources under glossary than you which also affects my thoughts on the matter:

We've changed their type to Glossary.I see that some of mine are now Type:Glossary... and some are not. I wonder, given the ones that are, whether LLS:CATHPCKTDICTCYCL should be, too, and, if not, why. Likewise LLS:DICTCANONLAW, LLS:HITCHCOCK02, LLS:EXDCTBIBNM, and LLS:EASYFORUSAY.
