My only thought... did you perform a "custom" install?

I recently upgraded to L9 free.
Just for clarification (for the benefit of others reading this thread even if you know this already), L9 Basic (the free version that you got) is not a different program than L9 Bronze, L9 Gold, L9 Ultimate, etc--L9 is L9. The difference is in added features and resources. Since some people who upgrade to L9 Basic had purchased a feature set for L8 (and/or some earlier version), two people whose only L9 'purchase' is L9 Basic could have access to radically different collections of features. However, none of those features should be causing the problem you've reported.

Thanks, Dave. First I have to correct myself. I do not have a Quicken product. I have an Intuit product, Quicken is no longer under Intuit.
After checking through that and Adobe Acrobat I was at a loss. I did further searches and found the solution under a gamers fix for Warframe. Get rid of the Logos shortcut, and created a new one. Or in my case, pin to taskbar. No more GPUCache. Thanks everyone for your assistance. Have a blessed weekend.
I just purchased a brand new laptop this week and only after I installed Logos on it did I began to see the GPU Cache folder on my desktop. Immediately after I deleted the Logos shortcut, the folder stopped appearing. (Thanks for the fix). I did not install either Quicken or Adobe on it.
I'm definitely not a computer person, but there seems to be a connection between the GPU cache folder and Logos.

However, Bradley is a computer person with intimate knowledge of Logos:
Logos doesn't create or use a "GPU Cache" folder.
However, that does not preclude something in the installation process making the GPU Cache folder visible. Glad that recreating the shortcut fixed it and provided a strong clue for FL to figure out what is going on.
