Please create a Pericope Set for the CSB. Currently, when I do an Inline search or use the Bible Browser with the CSB I cannot select to display the results by Pericope in the dropdown. In an Inline search, I can only select Verse or Paragraph, in the Bible Browser I can only select Verse. I would also like to be able to select the CSB pericope set in the Passage Analysis: Compare Pericopes tool. Adding a pericope set for the CSB would enable this functionality.

Inline Search in CSB:

lnline Search in ESV:

Bible Browser CSB:

Bible Browser ESV:

Compare Pericopes in Passage Analysis Tool:

Please prioritize this. The CSB is a great and helpful translation that a lot of people are adopting as their primary translation. This increasingly popular bible should have all of the functionality that other major bible translations have in Logos.

Users that want this as much as I do can vote for it here:

I marked the the Feedback as Planned.

We have it planned for the next round of pericope set updates. We have a number of German Bibles that will be getting updated and the CSB is going to be part of that round of updates. It's tentatively schedule for September/Early October.

Keeping this on the radar. Hopefully this will be completed soon.

Until the CSB updates, any user that has the Hcsb should be able to consult that pericope set.

I am aware of this. Refer to the rest of the post to see all the things I can't do in/with the CSB itself. There's a lot more functionality to be had with pericope sets than just what's available in the passage analysis tool. And I literally never use the HCSB.

This is still very much on our radar. Other projects have taken longer and we haven't been able to start work on this yet. I'm hoping it will be done this year.

I see that I can now use Pericope Sets in the CSB itself and in the passage analysis tool. Thanks for adding that.

However, I still cannot use the CSB Pericope set in the Bible Browser. Hopefully that functionality will be added soon as well. Thanks for all of your work on this.

Just noticed today that I can now use the CSB pericope set in the Bible Browser. Not sure exactly when this got fixed but it's working now. Thanks for getting this completed. [Y]

This should not be a project separate to the release of a new Bible but a part of that project plan so that when the Bible is released it is fully functional rather than half baked.

Given that this is not necessarily the same set of employees, do you want a Bible held up rather than released if the second group is busy? I do agree with you in theory -- I'm just not sure about in practice.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

That's why you have a project plan because you do have different employee groups working on different parts of a project and the plan is set to bring all those parts together to make a working whole.  Holds ups do happen but this bible has been out for more than long enough for any hold ups to have been overcome with creating a pericope set. So, while I do agree with you in practice things out of a project manager's control can happen with any project, I do wonder if FL do have such a project plan for creating different resource types and if so whether they include in the 'Create a New Bible' Project plan they include the Pericope set.

The fact we are having to vote on these things give me the impression it is a neglected piece of work. Happy for FL to say it's otherwise because I am on the outside looking through a "customer coloured" stain glassed window.

In answer to your question, personally I would tend to sway to delay side if the second group is busy. I believe if it its worth doing then do it right the first time rather than doing it half baked, disappointing customers with an incomplete project and then the fix to complete the project becomes something that customers have to vote for to move up the list of priorities for a chance of it being done.
