I am having some problems when loading Logos on my new Lenovo Legion. My PC gets hot and overruns. Any advice is appreciated.

Logos is an intensive program and requires a good processor, sufficient ram, and an SSD with well more than enough storage space. What are your specs?

Since you posted elsewhere that you have Platinum and Academic Pro, and this post mentions a new computer, I'm guessing the initial indexing is generating a LOT of your heat. Future uses of the program should not be as heat generating.

The PC is 2 years old but practically new. See specs below

That could be a Core i5-8300H at 45 Watt, so I would expect some heat when indexing, especially as a Hybrid drive is still a slow Hard drive. A replacement SSD would improve overall performance and reduce heat during indexing.
