Personal Books
Good morning,
I am busy creating a Bible personal book, but the log file has issues with the use of Hebrew in verses as I do not understand how to use the language code correctly.
Could someone who is au fait with this please give me an example how to correctly use the language code?
Once I have mastered this I will ask more questions as they are identified, although the book compiled successfully, just complaints in the log file.
Thank you in advance.

Just chipping in Johan.
I have never compiled a personal book but I have noticed in the forum that many 'complaints in the log file' can be safely ignored if the 'book compiled successfully'.
You might like to post an extract from the log file so that those who actually know can ascertain the seriousness of the 'complaints'.

Thank you.
The warnings have a reason and thus the reason I want to fix them in the correct way - this is an extract of the vast majority of the warnings.
I have the tetragrammaton enclosed in <heb>יהוח</heb> to identify the Hebrew, if I remove these markers then the Hebrew letters display the wrong way, i.e. in stead of right-to-left, it displays as left-to-right.
I hope this helps.

If I recall correctly, I think you want to use Word itself to mark the language: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/check-spelling-and-grammar-in-a-different-language-667ba67a-a202-42fd-8596-edc1fa320e00

Afraid that does not work, I mark each Hebrew word in MSWord as Hebrew and it messes up the whole verse in Logos.
I now just swopped the Hebrew letters from right-to-left to left-to-right, at least it now shows correctly in Logos.
This is a very bad way to do that.

If necessary ensure the font is Times New Roman (I use SBL Hebrew). I use the word without the language marker and have no issues.
BTW, the word for Yahweh is יהוה and not יהוח --> some subtle difference, but it is not correct lexically even if it is found in some commentaries.

One thing I found useful: enter the last verse of each book twice. Will give a warning about it being entered twice BUT that helps tell where any errors are. Then when done just remove the doubled verses. The warning message gives book number, chapter and verse.
Lost a [ or { when it should have been [[ or {{ and had to double up on every verse in one chapter before I could see my mistake. Mistakes are easier to find when you only have to look at one line.
