Wow, y'all! If and when you are able to update to Windows 11, definitely do it! Logos just runs way snappier on 11 than on 10.  I just updated yesterday and Logos has never run smoother.

Good to hear. I'm considering when to let it install.

That's my experience as well. Windows 11 is supposed to be more optimized for SSDs so that's probably one reason why it runs better.

I am still on the fence regarding updating to Windows 11. I am a little worried about "incompatibilities" and driver issues, but after reading about your experiences, I am considering it a bit more

That's interesting to hear about the SSDs (as I'm in that club now)--any good articles on that?

I'm wondering when to upgrade as well. This is the first I'm hearing of a change to anything other than aesthetics. With MS I'd generally like to give them time to work the bugs out and wait until a good reason to upgrade arises.

I upgraded last week, and so far so good! Not even any of the printer problems some folk have had, and no issues at all with Logos.

I haven't noticed a Logos speed increase on my fast computer perhaps because it wasn't slow before. Sadly, two of my computers are too aged to update to Win 11. Owell. Logos runs great on them. I might be getting a new computer soon. If so, you may soon be smelling smoke from Logos' speed.

Okay, minor Win11 bug to report:

When dragging a resource from an open window to the app in taskbar to move to another minimized window, the minimized frames do not pop up from the taskbar.  So to move a resource from one window to another you have to have both open and unobstructed.

Positive: L9 does seem more responsive on Win11.

Negative: I have had some issues that both seem to be associated with Sermon Builder. 1) export to proclaim doesn't handle fonts well, and 2) I have experienced the "printer problems" Carmen references. I could not print to my printer yesterday morning. Also, when I tried bypass the problem by using "Microsoft print to PDF" Adobe could not open the PDF that was created.

I just updated to Windows 11, and I also noticed that Logos runs snappier on Windows 11 than Windows 10.  My computer is relatively new Dell XPS 15 9500, with 32 gig of Ram, and a large SSD.  Logos was not slow before on this computer.  However, it seems quite a bit faster on Windows 11.  Certainly starts faster.  Printer runs fine.  Moving panes around on the Logos layout works more smoothly.  Will have to run some more tests.

    So far, so good.
