Without a doubt, you are correct. I still have some of the charts and notes that I created in 1976 at Asbury Theological Seminary. Best way to learn.
In those old days, Asbury Seminary required students to take 6 hours of Greek grammar that did not even count toward their degree. Now students get to count their Greek grammar courses as electives toward their degrees. The seminary has gone sissy, I say.
And Dr. Wang made us take all exams at night after classes. No time to waste on exams in class time. Tests were all essay questions. You had to type your essays, and bring your own typewriter and a typist, if you needed one. Nobody had word processors in 1976. Exams lasted hours into the night.
I am smiling as I type this, but it is all true. Wouldn't take a million dollars for the experience. Oh, yes, and we all walked to class in the snow uphill, both ways!
