How does syncing work?

Every once in a while I will be working on something for hours.....a crash will occur and so. reopen Logos and the layout that opens is from days ago. Why hasn't it been syncing?
I know...."Submit your Logs".....Frankly I don't have time to figure this out. I need the program to work. If I click the sync button should this ensure I am synced????

How do you have Logos set to start - defined in Program Settings?

Most recent layout - local is more efficient in terms of startup time for Logos (you only need "any" if you are working with Logos on different computers and want to sync the layout between them) e.g. close Logos on one computer and open it on the other.
